With both the longest distance and the steepest elevation of the GR70, this sixth stage is the most difficult of the journey. But the points of interest are not lacking to reward the efforts.
Indeed, this path offers splendid views of the Lozère mountains, crosses the village of Chasseradès, passes near the Mirandol viaduct, and crosses the Goulet forest.
Finally, it ends at Bleymard for a well-deserved rest.
