This is a fantastic loop around the Glendalough Upper Lake and the ridges beyond, all the way to the Spinc in Wicklow Mountains National Park. The trail is moderate, begins with a steeper uphill section then plateaus for a bit before coming down when looping back. The hike combines foot trails and boardwalks. The views are stunning throughout, with lookouts on the Poulanass Waterfall and the Glenealo Valley. There are even deers that hikers might be lucky to spot along the way.
