This beautiful short there-and-back trail leads to the magnificent Blue Pools. The track begins a little further away then the Haast Pass Lookout, just under an hour from Haast, in Mount Aspiring National Park. It's a lovely wooded path that follows the Makarora River until a long bridge before reaching the pools, where the blue water is hypnotic.
