This is a challenging hike to the top of Ben Chonzie, towering over 900 metres making it a Munro (one of the highest peaks in Scotland), only eleven kilometres northwest of Crieff. The trail snakes through moorland; it is difficult as it follows a narrow, steep and rock path that is not always well-marked. The views on the rounded hills between Loch Earn and Loch Tay are breathtaking. There are many wild birds around including buzzards and other animals roaming, which hikers might be lucky to spot.
