This is a beautiful there-and-back trail to Ben Vrackie Summit at 841 metres, passing by Loch a'Choire, towering over the town of Pitlochry. The route is difficult following a well-maintained trail through woodland and open landscape following a moderate gradient. The final ascent is steeper and includes a stony stairs section, after having passed the stunning Loch a’Choire. The panoramic views are super far reaching over the Cairngorms landscape and are well-worth the effort.
