This is a great there-and-back hike to the top of Schiehallion at 1083 metres, a well-known Munro (one of Scotland’s highest peaks). The trail is challenging and offers breathtaking panoramic views. The route begins at the Braes of Foss car park and the first part is well-maintained and follows a moderate gradient along the eastern ridge of the mountain. After the cairn, the route becomes steep following a rocky footpath. The blooming flowers in spring really add to the natural beauty of the walk.
