This is a lovely and quaint loop in Chatelherault Country Park to pass through the Green Bridge and Riccarton paths in Clyde Valley Woodlands National Nature Reserve. The trail is on the easier side of moderate following a well-maintained track through woodlands, with regular light uphills and downhills. The atmosphere through the woods with the lovely views on the tranquil river and the pasture land is very relaxing. Hikers might even spot birds and deer around. This makes for a lovely walk.
