This is a great loop passing by Ben More (1,174 m) and Stob Binnein summits in Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, not far from Stirling. The trail is challenging beginning with a very steep section on the first two kilometres with a 1,000 m elevation gain. After a quick dip downhill, the trail goes back uphill to ascend Stob Binnein and more gradually come back down after that. The terrain can become quite boggy when the weather is wet. The views are fantastic throughout the walk making it well worth the effort.
