This is a beautiful and easy loop following the Whangie Hill trail and going to the top of Auchineden Peak, just under an hour away from Stirling. The walk follows a narrow and well-maintained footpath first to the incredible rock formation of the Whangie and then to the top of the hill. The gradient is moderate making the walk feasible for the whole family. The views of the open moor and heather landscape as well as the Whangie, a strange geological feature, are fantastic!
