This is a lovely walk to the famous Elephant’s Eye rock formation near Cape Town in Table Mountain National Park. The trail is moderate and well maintained, the gradient is constant and uphill to the Eye, mostly following rocky trails. The views on the surrounding landscapes, the city and the ocean are lovely and the Elephant’s Eye is a very impressive cave. This is a great walk to undertake with kids.
