This is a one way hike to the top of Table Mountain via the Platteklip Gorge, using the Table Mountain Cableway to come back down or the reverse. The trail is challenging and very steep but well worth the effort. The views are spectacular throughout the walk offering different viewpoints on the city and ocean below as the path twists and turns along the mountain side. The mountain rocks are more than 600 million years old and create an incredible landscape.
