This long and beautiful hike starts at the end of Rossmattertalstrasse, slightly after Käsern. The trail climbs rapidly until it reaches the Glärnischhütte refuge, located at 1,990 meters above sea level. The trail then continues towards the Vrenelisgärtli summit, located at 2,905 meters above sea level, crosses the Glärnischfirn glacier and then continues on the ridge to the summit. At the top, the view is absolutely magical.
It is advisable to do this hike over two days with a night at the Glärnischhütte refuge.
