This is a lovely loop around Bamford Edge and Stanage Edge in the Peak District National Park, only half an hour away from Sheffield. The trail is moderate with some uphills and downhills and quickly leads to Great Tor, a rocky overhang with great views on the surrounding area. As the hike carries on, it leads to a steeper ascent two thirds of the walk in. The path mixes rocky trails and paved sections. There are some spectacular rock escapements on the way with very unique geology. The views are breathtaking at the top opening wide on the hills, the Derwent Reservoir and valleys below.
