This is a lovely and well-marked loop to the Three Shires Head in the Peak District National Park. The trail is moderate, mixing roads, little rocky tracks and footpaths sections with very little elevation throughout the walk. The circuit begins in Flash and carries on to the Three Shires Head, where Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire meet. There, on the river Dane, stands a lovely waterfall adorned by rock pools. This is a great place to have a swim before carrying on with the walk.
