This is the first leg of the GR70, better known as the Stevenson path. Departing from Le Puy-en-Velay station, the trail begins by leaving the city to plunge into the rolling countryside.
From Coubon, the path begins a nice climb, then crosses some undergrowth before arriving at Monastier-sur-Gazeille.
