This is a very short there-and-back hike to see the Franz Josef Glacier from up close, starting near the Waiho River in the Westland Tai Poutini National Park. Going through a tropical forest, the path leads to a viewpoint with great views of the glacier. This track can be closed due to changing weather conditions.
