A short and easy trail for all ages and levels around Lake Matheson in the Westland Tai Poutini National Park. The lake offers breathtaking reflections of Aoraki/Mount Cook and Mount Tasmanin in its waters on sunny days.
The trail is flat and under the forest canopy leading to observation platforms with great viewpoints. The first section up to the pier viewpoint is suitable for assisted wheelchairs.
