This is a great and short there-and-back trail to ascend Mount Fox, a bit south of the Fox Glacier village in the Westland Tai Poutini National Park. The ascent is an intense one, hands might be of use to climb a bit in some places, but the views at the top are a wonderful price to pay. The trail begins in a wooded area and culminates with snowy peaks in the distance. This route shouldn’t be undertaken after a rainy day.
