This is an epic loop in Jonkershoek Nature Reserve following the Panorama Trail and Second Waterfall Trail near Pniel, Western Cape, that is not for the faint hearted. After two kilometres, the trail begins to intensely go uphill gaining more than 700 metres of elevation in just under four kilometres. The way back gets more relaxed by the time the trail begins to snake along the river. The trail is well maintained and well marked. The views are simply breathtaking anywhere one looks. Valleys, mountains, waterfalls, rivers, gullies and beautiful flora, a splendid adventure.
