Pretty little hike that starts in the heart of Zermatt. This route makes a nice loop and goes up to Edelweiss and its pretty restaurant. A small meal with family or friends with a view of the Rothorn and the Gornergrat is a must. After having eaten well, return to Zermatt by a path which descends.
