Leaving from Emosson, this long and pretty hike runs along Lake Emosson then overlooks a second lake, that of Vieux-Emosson. The legend says that on the beach of Emosson, 240 million years ago, a herd of archosaurs (the ancestors of dinosaurs and crocodiles) passed and engraved their footprints in the clay. In short, a long and beautiful hike that deserves the detour because of its particularity.
