A 12,2 km there-and-back trail near New Plymouth, Taranaki in Egmont National Park. The track is famous for the amazing views on Mount Taranaki that are reflected in the Pouakai tarns, creating a beautiful mirror image in the water. A lot of the trail is shaded under the trees and follows long impressive stilted wooden boardwalks. This is an iconic New-Zealand trail!
