France > Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur > Calanques National Park
Between Marseilles and Cassis, the calanques are a succession of coves and inlets with an unrivalled reputation. The turquoise blue of the Mediterranean, the white limestone cliffs and the rich scents of the garrigue make this an exceptional setting for hiking.
Here is a selection of trails to discover the most famous calanques: En Vau, Port-Pin, Port-Miou, Morgiou, Sugiton and Sormiou. But there are also a few less-frequented routes, even though they offer spectacular views.
