The coastal path from Bidart to Saint-Jean-de-Luz

We begin this selection with a coastal path joining Bidart and Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Landscapes alternate between large beaches, coves, and cliffs, always with the Pyrenees in the background.


The Abbadia estate

Between the botanical gardens and the neo-Gothic castle, discover a treasure trove of biodiversity and history, framed by breathtaking landscapes.


La Rhune

Departing from Olhette, this route allows you to climb the 905 meters of one of the best-known peaks in the Basque Country: the Rhune. This offers a lovely view of the start of the Pyrenees, as well as the Atlantic Ocean.


Lake Choldokogaina

This hike winds through lush forests to reach Lake Choldokogaina. Enjoy the peaceful ambiance and sparkling waters of this natural haven.


The Suhalmendi

Departing from Ascain, this is a short loop trail which allows you to climb Suhalmendi and enjoy a lovely panorama, from the Pyrenees to the ocean.


The peak of Mondarrain

This picturesque ascent takes you to the summit of the Mondarrain peak. The panoramic view extends over the mountains and valleys, providing a unique perspective on the region.


The Larla trail

This is a route full of contrasts, between the old Larla mines and green natural spaces.


The ridges of Iparla

From the Bordazar farm, climb to the Iparla pass, then aerial route over the crests to the Harietta pass. The panorama is exceptional.


The source of Bidouze

For intrepid explorers, this hike leads to a clear spring and the summit of Etxekortea Peak.


The Holzarte gorges

Finally, we close this selection with a route making a long loop within a narrow canyon, in a pleasant setting made up of forests, streams and waterfalls. The highlight of the show is the passage via a footbridge suspended 180 meters above a torrent.
